High Alpha: Jimmy Montague

Friends,

I hope everyone is doing well this week. The last weeks have been busy ones for the men at Lambda Chi Alpha, and it does not look like things will be slowing down before the end of the semester.

This last Friday evening we had the opportunity to initiate 28 new members into our bond, and look forward to the many great things they will accomplish in the coming years.

On Sunday afternoon we had the pleasure of hosting our Centennial Alumni event where we unveiled our "Gallery of memories" which is our soon to come alumni hall of fame. We also had the pleasure of having Dave Arland, Dr. Elgan Baker, and John Holloway speak to our chapter and alumni about the coming years of Alpha-Alpha and Lambda Chi Alpha. It was a great event where the brothers has the opportunity to meet and network with various alumni.

In the coming weeks we will be participating in Spring Sports, the annual all night marathon to benefit the Special Olympics. After our all night marathon we will then board a bus to Kienland racetrack in Kentucky to enjoy the history of the track as well as a day at the races. We will then tour the Buffalo Trace distillery, and make a stop at our University of Kentucky chapter for an evening pig roast.

We also continue to work hard at our academic programming this semester as we hope to once again become the strongest academic fraternity on the Butler Campus. I also attached a picture of Bobby Fong, the Butler University president, riding the Teeter-Totter.

Best regards,
Jimmy
