26th annual Teeter-Totter Marathon

Date: March 21-27, 2010
Details:

It's that time again! The Alpha-Alpha chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha is once again hosting its 26th annual Teeter-Totter Marathon! This year, we are pleased to unveil our new partnership with Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent. We will be holding the event in front of the chapter house from March 21-27, 2010. This event is a long-standing philanthropic tradition in Alpha-Alpha's history, and it's one of our strongest. For those unfamiliar with the Teeter-Totter Marathon, it is a weeklong event where brothers and associate members team up to ride a giant 30' teeter-totter in front of the chapter house for 24 hours a day for the entire week. As Alpha-Alphas ride the teeter-totter, other members will be collecting donations outside of the chapter house and in various other locations across campus.

All of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital. With the support of local businesses, the Butler community, and our generous alumni we were able to raise nearly $10,000 during last year's marathon. With your support, we believe that we will be able to raise over $15,000 this year!

Please make your donation through the St. Vincent Foundation at http://give.stvincent.org/netcommunity/teetertottermarathon.

Please consider making a gift to this worthy cause. If you have any concerns or would like additional information, please contact our High Theta, Leander Cinninger '12, at lcinning@butler.edu. We really appreciate your help in supporting Alpha-Alpha and the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, and look forward to seeing and hearing from you in the future!

Yours in Z.A.X.,
The Brothers of Alpha-Alpha
