This remarkable tradition has produced many alumni who have established distinguished careers, including the past and current chairmen of Butler's Board of Trustees and the current Executive Vice President of Lambda Chi Alpha International Fraternity. Important life lessons in values, character, involvement and leadership are fostered during the undergraduate years in Lambda Chi that potentiate outstanding professional accomplishments and community contributions during the years after college graduation.

This tradition of excellence continues at Alpha-Alpha today. The chapter has won more than two dozen campus and national awards during the past three years for the quality of its programming and chapter operations and in recognition of the brotherhood experience fostered by our members.  These awards have included:

shield
  • Outstanding programming awards for Recruitment, Fraternity Education, Campus Involvement, Community Service and Philanthropy
  • Multiple-year recognition as a "5-Star Chapter" on Butler's campus for Excellence in Programming, Operations, and Achievement for multiple years
  • Selection as one of only five Lambda Chi Alpha Chapters throughout the United States and Canada to receive the "Grand High Alpha Challenge Award" for outstanding achievement in recruitment, education, scholarship, campus involvement, community service, brotherhood and ritualism
  • Selection as one of only 20 Lambda Chi Alpha chapters to earn the ability to provide the "Inner Circle" experience to our brothers as part of the fraternity's "True Brother Initiative."
  • These markers of achievement and excellence reflect the distinguished caliber of the men who are part of the Butler Chapter. In the past three years, our brothers have served as leaders in student government, campus and departmental honoraries, and various sports teams. They have also been elected as Homecoming King, Mr. Butler, Outstanding Greek Man of the Year, and Greek Week King for three successive titles. 100 percent of the brothers at Alpha-Alpha are active in campus activities, with nearly 40 percent of them holding positions of leadership. One of our brothers, Joey Frasca, was recently chosen as the Outstanding Undergraduate of the Year in Lambda Chi Alpha from throughout North America.

Our website will tell you more about many of our current activities for active and alumni brothers, provide important information for current and prospective parents, and offer some introductory details about Lambda Chi Alpha's new "True Brother Initiative" which has revolutionized the Greek world with its innovative approach to education and brother development. This initiative and related programming has again established Lambda Chi as the leader among fraternities.  No other fraternity on the Butler campus has anything comparable, ensuring that Alpha-Alpha will continue its tradition of success and excellence for many years to come.
