Alpha Update

High Alpha: Joey Frasca

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and is off to a joyous start to the holiday season. Just as most people during this time of the year, the Men of Lambda Chi Alpha are quite busy and have much to be thankful for. First, our chapter just experienced our Educational Leadership Consultant visit from the Lambda Chi Alpha General Fraternity. During this visit, which occurs once per semester, the chapter was able to focus on developing a clear direction and vision for the future. We were also highly commended from the consultant on most areas of chapter operations and were given great advice on how to make these operations even better.

Overall, the visit was a great experience for the entire chapter. Secondly, our two Associate Members have made great progress on completing their New Member Education Program. We are looking forward to accepting them as newly initiated brothers in the near future. The Men of Lambda Chi Alpha are also proud to report that we are currently ranked third in the nation for total pounds of food collected during the annual North American Food Drive.

Finally, we are also proud to report that two members of our chapter were recently elected to a position on the Interfraternity Council (IFC) Executive Board. Mike Sinsheimer was elected as Vice-President of Programming, and John Magill was elected as Vice-President of Finance. We are quite proud of these brothers and are confident that they will do a great job in their newly elected positions. That’s all I have for now. As always, let me know if you need anything!

Sincerely,

Joey
