September 27, 2005 Hello everyone! Last week was a great success. Our Scholarship Dinner went well as did our Study Skills Workshop. Saturday and Sunday were both great fun. For this week, we will be holding a "Careers in Finance Dinner" on Wednesday at 6. We have multiple guests from the world of finance coming to speak about their careers. Friday and Saturday, we will be attempting to win our second sorority/fraternity function as we take the field in Theta Grill-off and prepare to run the Phi Psi 5k. Finally, on Sunday we will be installing Dr. Elgan Baker as our Alumni Advisor in addition to formally associating our newest group of members, all are welcome as both of these ceremonies are open rituals. One thing that the chapter is specifically working on this week is preparation for our consultant visit. This year our consultant is Mr. Mitch Woods. Mr. Woods will be here around dinner time on the 4th of October, and he will depart early on the morning of the 6th. That is all for this week! I hope you all are doing well and again I would like to invite each of you to come to both our Formal Association on Sunday (this begins at 11am) and our Alcohol Awareness Dinner at 6 on October 5th.
