November 29, 2005 Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and welcome back! As the semester winds down the chapter has set its focus on two major areas: recruitment and scholarship. This week we will be preparing or our final formal recruitment event next Tuesday. Our theme for this event is "Lambda Chi Alpha Putt-Putt." We will be setting up a 9 hole putt-putt course throughout our house. In addition, we have formed a team for Fraternity 101 on Wednesday night. We hope to make a great showing at this event, as it is going to be the first chance some freshmen will have to see what our house is all about. With only two weeks of class left the chapter has cut its programming down considerably in order to promote studying. Our plan this semester is to get a 3.3 gpa and we realize how important these final couple of weeks are! Lastly, Wednesday night we will be having a Resume Building Workshop with our Faculty Advisor, Marv Recht. That's all for this week! Sincerely, Steve
