January 31, 2006 Since this is the first letter sent out for the spring semester, there is much to report on. First of all, the past semester was a true testament to the strength of the brotherhood of Lambda Chi Alpha. Under the new motto "Spirit, Pride, Excellence," the men of this fraternity worked hard to strengthen the house and succeeded. As a result, we achieved a goal that set the tone coming into the 2006 semester. We were taken off of national probation for the first time in years. This created a wave of enthusiasm that readied us for rush. This year, the brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha worked very hard to have an outstanding recruitment. In fact, we recruited 24 new Associate Members into the Alpha-Alpha chapter this year! This is a drastic improvement from the previous year. It is also one of the largest rush classes on campus. So, congratulations! This past weekend, we also held our Formal Association and Officer Installment ceremonies. We had a great turn out of parents for both events and had an effective parent meeting afterward. All of this has really excited us for the upcoming semester. Expect to hear about new and exciting programming in the up coming newsletters. Events for the week: Study Skills Workshop on Wednesday, February 1st at 6:30 PM.
